Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team, supporting some of the most respected commercial vehicle brands in the world: Mercedes-Benz Vans, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Fuso and Freightliner.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor, automotive professional, or commercial vehicle specialist who wants to build a long-term career with a premium truck and van dealership in one of Australia's most desirable lifestyle regions.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and workshop team. You will help manage customer bookings, provide accurate service advice, communicate repair progress, and ensure every customer receives a professional, efficient and positive experience.
You will be working with a strong dealership team, premium commercial vehicle brands, and a customer base that relies on us to keep their businesses moving.
Greet and assist service customers in a professional and friendly manner
Book vehicles for servicing, repairs and diagnostics
Prepare repair orders and liaise with technicians and workshop control
Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle progress, costs and completion times
Provide advice across Mercedes-Benz Vans, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Fuso and Freightliner products
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate service solutions
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Support warranty, maintenance and service administration processes
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in automotive, truck, van, commercial vehicle or dealership environments
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good technical understanding or a willingness to learn commercial vehicles
Excellent organisation and time management skills
A professional attitude and strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a busy team environment
A passion for delivering great outcomes for customers
Australian work rights are essential for this position
Experience with Mercedes-Benz, Fuso, Freightliner or other truck and commercial vehicle brands will be highly regarded, but the right attitude and work ethic are just as important.
