Yard Hand

About the role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Yard Hand to keep our yard and hire fleet clean, safe and ready to go. It's an active, outdoors role suited to someone who takes pride in a well-kept yard and works well on their own and as part of a small team. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities:

• Wash down and clean returned hoists and access equipment using high pressure cleaning equipment

• Keep the yard clean, tidy and organised — sweeping, waste removal, and clear access ways

• Move and position equipment around the yard using a forklift

• Help load and unload equipment on and off transport

• Do basic visual checks on equipment and report any damage or faults

About you

• Current forklift ticket — essential

• Experience with high pressure cleaning equipment

• Physically fit, able to work outdoors and in a warehouse environment

• Reliable, punctual, safety-focused and hard working

Nice to have: White Card (Construction Induction), current driver's licence, and previous experience in equipment hire, plant or a yard environment.
