An exciting opportunity has become available for a Genuine Parts Interpreter to join Riviera's Dealer & Owner Care Team.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service. Working closely with Riviera owners, dealers, and trade professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring parts enquiries and orders are managed efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
About the Role
As a Genuine Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing parts advice and support while ensuring a seamless customer experience across all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to spare parts enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Process customer orders and payments accurately
Provide parts advice and recommendations to owners, dealers, and trade professionals
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and internal departments
Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, online, and face-to-face interactions
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders, and assist customers with order collection and loading
Assist with biannual stocktakes and support the team at industry events, including the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.
A commitment to accuracy and accountability in all tasks undertaken.
Understanding of inventory management, warehousing and freight coordination.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Initiative and resourcefulness when solving problems.
Desirable Skills & Experience
The following knowledge and experience will be highly regarded:
Knowledge of Riviera products and systems.
Experience within the marine industry.
Understanding of vessel systems and boat-building processes.
Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Previous experience in parts interpreting, customer service, or a similar role.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
