The opportunity

Northwood Roofing is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Roof Plumbing Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the trades and services industry, with a focus on plumbing for roofing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced roof plumbers in the installation, maintenance and repair of roof drainage systems, including gutters, downpipes and flashings

• Learn the technical aspects of roof plumbing, including the use of specialist tools and equipment

• Develop practical skills in measuring, cutting, joining and securing roof plumbing components

• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

• Participate in on-the-job training and complete formal vocational education

What we're looking for

• Passion for the trades and services industry, with a willingness to learn

• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Commitment to completing a 4-year roof plumbing apprenticeship

• Reliable, punctual and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
