Hygiene / Cleaning Service Technician – Casual (Immediate Start)

Jaymak Adelaide is a highly successful private franchise within the Jaymak national franchise network. Due to our business growing we are currently seeking reliable and motivated Hygiene Service Technicians to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, autonomy, and working within small teams.


About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional hygiene cleaning and maintenance services to new and existing Jaymak customers across Adelaide metro and regional areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Equipment hygiene maintenance cleaning in hotels, hospitals, aged care facilities, and food manufacturing sites

  • Mould and bacteria contamination control in cool rooms, fridges, dishwashers, and ice machines

  • Cleaning and sanitising ice machines

  • Detailed kitchen cleaning and sanitising

  • Ensuring all work is completed to ISO22000 certified standards

Full training is provided — no previous experience is required, although it is highly regarded.


Working Hours

  • Casual role

  • Standard hours scheduled between 5am and 10pm, Monday to Friday

  • Some Saturdays and occasional overnight travel

  • Hours determined via weekly schedule

  • Maximum 7.6-hour shifts

  • Late finishes are not common


Remuneration & Benefits

  • $32.30 per hour

  • Company vehicle provided with fuel card

  • All tools and operating equipment supplied


Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be well presented, reliable, and flexible

  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Enjoy hands-on work with strong attention to detail

  • Be comfortable working at heights

  • Maintain moderate fitness levels suitable for physical demands of working at heights

  • Hold a full manual driver's licence

  • Hold Australian citizenship

Required / Highly Regarded (or willing to obtain):

  • White Card (OH&S)

  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence

  • Food Handlers Certificate

  • Working at Heights

  • First Aid Certificate

  • National Police Check

  • Working With Children Check

  • Fully vaccinated (COVID & Flu)
