Based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, this Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is the largest independent provider of automotive apprenticeships and training in Queensland.
With a multi-million state-of-the art facility, the Institute offers an unparalleled training environment for the next generation of automotive professionals. It is also part of Queensland’s peak body that represents the interests of employers within the automotive industry.
Reporting to the Training Centre & Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth administrative operations of the Training Department. Your primary role will be to deliver operational and administrative support to the training team, ensuring all administrative tasks, statutory requirements and record-keeping duties are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies. This is a full time position for a 6 month contract to start immediately, or at the earliest available date of the successful candidate.
The experienced Administration Assistant (RTO Services) will be responsible for the following duties:
Assisting with student enrolments, continuing RTO registration requirements, and completing activities within the student management and learning management systems
Delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders including students, employers, industry bodies and government departments
Maintaining accurate student records and contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
Generating reports and ensuring timely follow-up on incomplete student information
Liaising with students and employers to obtain feedback on their training requirements/journey.
Providing reception relief
Demonstrated experience in administrative support roles that are heavily process orientated
Exceptional attention to detail - you take pride in the accuracy of your work
Computer software proficiency – Microsoft Office skills and the ability to pick up new software and work across multiple tech platforms
Good written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed time management and organisational skills - you enjoy deadline and process driven work
Friendly nature with a team player attitude
