We have an exceptional opportunity for an Infield Service Technician to join our team at our Branch based in Thebarton, South Australia.

The Service Technician role is focused on repairs, training and delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Technician achieves this by conducting timely and quality repairs to Maytronics Australia products, both within the local Branch and infield meeting customer needs, as well as supporting our Dealer network and Pool Builders by providing relevant training on repairs and installs. The Service Technician uses their technical capabilities and customer-centric mindset to build and maintain positive rapport with all customers.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated technical skills and ability to be able to repair Robotic Cleaners, Ozone systems and Chlorinators

  • Electrical qualification desirable

  • Understanding of swimming pool water chemistry desirable

  • Swimming pool plumbing and maintenance skills and experience desirable

  • Customer service skills and experience mandatory

  • Forklift licence desirable, or the ability to obtain it.

  • Experience using various computer software programs mandatory, such as:

a)    Salesforce or similar CRM platform

b)   Priority or similar business system

c)    Email/Outlook

d)   Basic level with Excel, Word etc.

e) Microsoft Calendar


Duties:

Repairs

  • Repair Dolphin Robotic Cleaners, Ozone Swim Units, Chlorinators, Mineral Swim, Pool Pumps, Filters and other product categories that Maytronics release in the future.

  • Undertake service work both Internally at the branch and infield.

  • Installation of Mineral Swim / Ozone Swim systems when required.


Training

  • Training the Dealer network on DIY repairs in the Branch and at Store level.

  • Training Pool Builders on how to install Mineral Swim and Ozone Swim systems.


Providing Exceptional Customer Experience

  • Regular contact with Consumers and Trade Customers

  • Assisting in troubleshooting

  • Booking in repairs / service calls

  • Providing feedback regarding repairs

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers

  • General customer service enquiries.

Other Duties:

  • Assisting in Warehouse duties and other duties as required by the Manager

  • Assisting with product recalls and updates

  • Assessing and reporting on seconds and quarantine stock

  • Assisting with marketing and trade shows

  • Setup and maintenance of training equipment in branch


We’ll provide you with all the training you need to get up and running. You will be supported daily by the Repair Centre Lead, alongside a national support team.
