About the role:

Beaudesert Collision is a well-respected, family-owned repair shop proudly serving the Scenic Rim and surrounds for over 10 years. We're on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Panel Beater to join our friendly and professional team. This hands-on role involves assessing and repairing vehicle damage to manufacturer specifications using modern tools and techniques. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is safety-conscious, and thrives in a team-oriented environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess structural and cosmetic damage to vehicles

• Remove, repair and replace damaged panels and parts

• Use frame-straightening machines and welding tools to realign chassis and structural components

• Fill, sand and smooth surfaces in preparation for painting

• Collaborate with estimators and painters to ensure timely and high-quality repairs

• Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with the team

• Represent Beaudesert Collision with professionalism and integrity
  

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Proven experience as a panel beater in a workshop environment

• Strong skills in metalwork, welding and panel alignment

• Eye for detail and commitment to high repair standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture

• Valid driver's licence

Desirable:

• I-CAR certification or willingness to undertake training

• Familiarity with modern materials like aluminium and composite panels

• Spray painting or prepping experience is a plus
