Welder – Structural & General Fabrication

About the role

Join a growing steel fabrication team delivering residential, commercial and industrial projects across NSW.

This role suits a hands‑on welder who takes pride in clean, accurate work and enjoys being part of a fast‑moving workshop environment.

What you'll be doing

• Undertake structural steel welding to industry standards

• Carry out general fabrication welding on structural beam and columns

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders

• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure timely delivery of projects

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a qualified Welder, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role

• Must hold a recognized trade certificate in welding

• Demonstrated proficiency in structural and general fabrication welding techniques

• Heavy structural welding experience is essential for this position

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Current Welding certification(s) such as MIG, TIG or Stick welding

• Must possess valid MIG welding certification

• Must have Australian work rights
