Hybrid Linings South West is a dynamic construction firm specialising in interior and exterior construction packages — including ceilings, walls and external cladding. Based in Vasse, we service residential, commercial and industrial projects across the South West region. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability, and efficient project delivery.

Due to our ever-expanding Building & Façade portfolio of large long-term contracts right through 2026, on a variety of projects across the South West region, we are seeking to fill a Plasterer/Solid Renderer.

We are offering permanent employment, with an ongoing basis of work. With great opportunities available to the right candidates such as sponsorship visas & supervisor roles. 

Job Role Duties:

• Preparing internal and external wall and ceiling surfaces for rendering and plastering, including cleaning, patching, levelling, straightening and applying bonding materials where required.

• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, render and similar materials to structures using trowels and other trade tools.

• Levelling and smoothing coats to a uniform thickness and ensuring a high-quality finish.

• Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, wall surfaces and ceiling surfaces.

• Applying cement render, acrylic render, texture coatings and other decorative or protective finishes.

• Creating decorative textures in finishing coats.

• Repairing, patching and finishing damaged or uneven rendered or plastered surfaces.

• Reading job specifications, following plans, site instructions and safety requirements.

• Using and maintaining plastering/rendering tools and equipment, including trowels, floats, straight edges, mixers, ladders and scaffolding/trestles where required.

• Working safely and effectively with other trades on construction sites.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Renderer, Solid Plasterer or closely related plastering/rendering trade role.

• Experience applying cement render, acrylic render, plaster and texture finishes.

• Ability to prepare, level, straighten and finish internal and external surfaces to trade standard.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong understanding of construction site safety.

• Relevant trade qualification preferred, although substantial relevant experience may be considered.
