Trade Assistant Mechanic Service Technician

A company that manufactures and sells Recycling Machinery is in growth and they are now seeking a Trades Assistant / Service Technician that will be installing and maintaining the equipment.

Location: Hendra


Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair the recycling equipment (including conveyors)
• Assist in the installation and manufacturing of the machines
• 40% of the time you will be working in the Workshop and 60% of the time you will be travelling (Service Technician)
• Travels within QLD and nationally once per month.
• Work with a dynamic team and learn
• Diagnose faults, do preventive maintenance and reactive repairs

Requirements:

• Experience in the mechanical space with mechanical /electrical systems (no qualifications required)
• Be able to travel nationally once or twice per month to repair machines in other states
• Follow the health and safety procedures

What is being offered:

• Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + superannuation
• Mon- Fri (6:30am to 2:30pm)
