Truck & Trailer Mechanic WANTED

About the Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repair of our fleet of heavy vehicles and trailers, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers

• Perform fault finding and diagnostics

• Complete trailer rebuilds and suspension repairs

• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections

• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

Essential Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience working on Mack, Volvo, and Kenworth trucks

• Extensive experience with trailer maintenance and repairs

• Proven experience completing trailer rebuilds

• Strong knowledge of trailer suspension systems

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Desirable Skills

• Auto electrical knowledge and experience

• HR Licence

• Experience working within civil, construction, or transport industries
