Job Title: Sheet Metal Tradesman – Roofing

Location: Burleigh Heads
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sheet Metal Tradesman who can work independently and take a leading role within our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, can manage jobs with minimal supervision, and is confident supporting and guiding other team members when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently from technical drawings and specifications

  • Measure, cut, bend, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components accurately

  • IDEALLY THIS POSITION WILL SUIT SOMEONE WHO HAS WORKED IN THE METAL ROOFING SPACE

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards

  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and provide practical solutions

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Sheet Metal / Metal Fabrication or equivalent

  • Solid experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage jobs from start to finish

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable:

  • Sheet metal Roofing Fabrication experience

  • Ability to read, interpret drawings

  • Willing to assist with running day to day operations in a small shop.
