Moxie Construction is seeking an experienced and dedicated Carpenter to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and, in a team, to produce high quality work.
About us
We are an insurance and multi trade builder specialising in rebuilds and repairs of insurable dwellings. We handle storm, flood, fire, and impact damages. A large percentage of our work is on existing residential houses spanning from North Sydney to South Coast NSW.
With over 25 years in the Insurance building sector , we are a growing company and looking to grow our team over the next 12 months.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete Carpentry /Building tasks.
Liase with clients with professional and warm manner
Provide daily job updates to office
Work effectively to meet required timelines
Work with other carpenters and trades people as well as independently when required
Take and follow instructions laid out by supervisor
Measure up jobs and perform inspections of both upcoming and completed work
Experience and attributes
Minimum 12 months post apprenticeship experience
Certificate III in Carpentry
Experience in Residential Building including- fix out work, framing and cladding
Driver's license
Current White card
Your own basic tools
Neat and tidy personal presentation and professional manner with customers
Motivated approach to work with a team as well as unsupervised
Keen attention to detail
Being an all rounder or a 'Jack of all trades' is advantageous
