Brisbane City Council - Trades Plumber

Are you an experienced Plumber looking for ongoing work across a mix of projects and maintenance work?

We have multiple opportunities within Brisbane City Councils Trade Services team. As part of the team, you will be working on projects at various sites across Brisbane.

About your new role

You'll be instrumental in keeping Council's plumbing and drainage systems compliant with legislative standards through repair, maintenance, and new construction efforts. This role also requires active participation in the Trade Services team operations, including the "On-Call" roster, to help achieve the Business's objectives.

• Undertaking general plumbing maintenance and repair work on council assets.
• Install and maintain plumbing and drainage systems within commercial properties.
• Diagnose and rectify leaks from toilets, taps, and underground water lines.
• Efficiently addressing and clearing blocked drains.

What you will need to exceed

We are looking for experienced plumbers who are reliable and enjoy providing high-quality work. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines.

Mandatory requirements:

• Cert III in Plumbing
• C Class drivers licence
• Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
