Due to growth and high demand, Saivon’s Hair Salon is expanding! We are looking for two (2) talented and experienced Hairdressers to join our professional team on a full-time basis.

Job Title: Senior Hairdresser

Work Location: Saivon’s Hair Salon, Ellenbrook

Salary Range: $ 76000-85,000

Undertake all the responsibilities as a Hairdresser at Saivon’s Hair Salon in Ellenbrook. Cut, style, colour, straighten and permanently wave hair with chemical solutions, and provide clients with hair and scalp treatments, cut, trim and shave beards and moustaches.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

·        Schedule client appointments and answer client calls advising on the services provided by the salon.

·        Maintain client information-­‐ Client Record.

·        Cut, trim and shave beards and moustaches

·        Point of sale financial transactions such as prepare bills, receive cash, tender cash, provide vouchers, manage cash register, reconcile balance etc.

·        Prepare client for a haircut by shampooing, conditioning, wrapping, combing etc

·        Advise clients on hair care and recommend and sell hair care products.

·        Cut, shape, style, and blow dry hair

·        Hair sculpting

·        Mixing and colour applications-­‐ tinting, highlighting,

·        Perming and curling

·        Chemical hair straightening and relaxing

·        Razor cutting, texturing and tapering

·        Colour correction

·        General cleaning and disinfecting the work stations.

·        Sterilise tools and equipment such as razors, clippers etc

·        Risk assessments and immediate measures to avoid or control any potential risks.

·        Manage all operational aspects of running the salon

·        Ongoing meetings with other employees and Manager to discuss and resolve any issues and for general briefings.

·        Train apprentices, trainees and junior hairdressers on an ongoing basis

Requirements of the position

 ·        At least 5 years of work experience in Hairdressing

·        Good health, with no skin allergies

·        Pleasant personality and good communication skills

·        Ability to work under pressure

·        Good hand-eye coordination

·        Patient

·        Some creative flair as necessary

·        High attention to detail

·        Able and willing to follow instructions
