Urban Building Group specialize in Commercial Construction and Modular Building Installation.

We require a Contract Carpenter for a Remote position located next to Marble Bar . The applicant must have have a Trade Background and at Least 5 Years Experience . Gyprock and Flushing experience is an advantage

About the Role:

As our Carpenter, you'll be responsible for a range of repairs, installations, and refurbishments. Your background in carpentry will be crucial in delivering high-quality finishes across cabinetry, partitioning, fixtures, and structural repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on carpentry and general maintenance duties across sites

• Complete repair and installation work to a high standard, with a focus on timber, cabinetry, and fittings

• Deliver quality finishes on shopfitting tasks, including partitions, shelving, and custom builds

• Identify and resolve on-site issues with minimal supervision

• Liaise with site managers and clients to scope and complete jobs efficiently

• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements

• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good working condition

About You:

• Trade-qualified Carpenter (or extensive hands-on experience in carpentry and maintenance)

• Strong shopfitting experience is highly desirable

• Ability to read plans and work autonomously

• Problem-solver with strong attention to detail

• Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused

• Current Driver's Licence (essential for travel between sites)

• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
