Your new role
As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will deliver reactive and planned maintenance across multiple government sites. This is a mobile role where you'll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant, and well-presented.
Key responsibilities include:
General carpentry repairs including doors, locks, cabinetry, flooring, and frameworks
Carrying out inspections and identifying defects across buildings
Completing preventative and reactive maintenance works
Minor fit-outs, refurbishments, and patch/repair work
Responding to work orders and prioritising tasks across multiple sites
Working closely with other trades and site stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or service-based carpentry
Strong all-round carpentry skills across repairs and refurbishments
Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
White Card and current driver's licence
Strong understanding of WHS and building compliance
A professional, customer-focused approach on site
What you'll get in return
