What You'll Be Doing

As part of our INSTALL  team, you will:

• Assist with the coordination and supervision of all aspects of projects and joinery installation jobs at Burke and Wills Projects/Joinery Brisbane office.

• Fulfill the role as a site installer/site supervisor on projects and carry out maintenance jobs when required.

• Assist with the requirements of each maintenance and minor works project from receiving direction from the client, engaging our contractors and reporting the outcome and issues directly to the maintenance coordinators, project managers and on occasion client.

• Read and interpret shop drawings and construction plans.

• Operate and work alongside CNC machinery, edge banders, and other workshop equipment.

• Measure, cut, fit and assemble joinery components with precision.

• Carry out on-site installations of commercial joinery projects.

• Assist with site coordination and supervision during installation works.

• Liaise with project managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors as required.

• Complete maintenance, defect rectification, and minor works projects when required.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship, presentation, and customer service.

• Monitor quality throughout manufacturing and installation processes.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

• Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

 

What We're Looking For

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making (preferred).

• Previous experience in commercial joinery and cabinetry.

• Installation experience highly regarded.

• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Current Driver's Licence.

• White Card (or willingness to obtain).

• Reliable, motivated, and professional attitude
