Boilermaker, Rigger and Trades Assistant

Australian Steel Projects is looking for experienced Boilermakers, Riggers and Labourers to join our site installation teams across Brisbane. We want people who like a challenge and get a kick out of seeing projects come together on site, taking pride in a job well done.

About the Work

You'll be working as part of skilled installation crews on active construction sites, delivering structural steel projects to a high standard.

Roles involve:

• On-site steel installation and assembly

• Working safely in live, fast-paced environments

• Following site and client procedures

• Collaborating with supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines

Who We're Looking For

Site Boilermakers

• Trade qualified (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)

• Strong experience in onsite steel installation

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in onsite steel installation required

• Ability to read drawings and work accurately to plans

Riggers

• Current High Risk Work Licence (Riggers)

• Proven experience dogging and rigging structural steel

• Confident working in congested and active sites

Labourers

• Construction or industrial site experience preferred

• Steel or rigging assistance experience highly regarded

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Essential Requirements (All Roles)

• Current White Card and drivers licence

• Ability to work safely on busy, live construction sites

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork

• Good communication and a professional attitude

• Ability to pass site inductions and comply with client rules
