Roof Carpenters - Entry Level Apprentice's

We are an established Perth company, specialising in new builds and renovations. We have positions available for apprentices to join our expanding team. 

 

What we are looking for:

Apprentices:

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who displays a willingness to work hard and is reliable. Experience in construction or a pre-app is beneficial but not essential. This role would suit a recent school leaver or someone looking to complete their existing apprenticeship. 

This is a 4 year apprenticeship completed on-site where you will learn all aspects of the trade including but not limited to:

• Setting up workstations

• Reading plans and specifications

• Quantity take offs and material inventory

• Using a variety of hand and power tools

• Carrying out measurements and calculations

• Build roof and wall frames in accordance with the Australian standard

• Pitching roof frames

• Erecting scaffolding

• Installing roofing timber components

• General labouring duties

• Cleaning up workstations & areas

To be successful you will need to have the following: 
Must have: 

• Completed Year 10 (minimum for apprentices)

• Australian trade qualification (for those applying for a qualified role)

• Drivers License

• A white card

• Suitable level of fitness for the physicality of the job.
