Kube Constructions is a Melbourne-based builder specialising in premium architectural homes, renovations and bespoke residential projects.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads from the front, and enjoys being part of a professional team delivering high-end residential projects.

This is more than a carpentry role. You'll play a key part in driving site performance, coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards and ensuring projects continue to move forward every day.

About the Role

As a Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of works on site, including:

Coordinating daily site activities and short-term sequencing
Ensuring trades have what they need to perform efficiently
Monitoring workmanship and maintaining high quality standards
Reading and interpreting plans and construction details
Driving accountability and maintaining momentum across the project
Maintaining site presentation, organisation and safety
Identifying issues early and escalating where required
Leading and mentoring carpenters and apprentices
Working closely with the Construction Coordinator and Head of Construction

What We're Looking For

Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III Carpentry)
Minimum 5 years industry experience
Previous Leading Hand or Site Leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of residential construction methods
Ability to coordinate trades and manage site activities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Highly organised and proactive
Solutions-focused with a calm approach under pressure
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Australian citizenship required
