Spray Painter Industrial - Night Shifts

• Permanent Position Immediate Start

• Must be Trade Qualified Spray Painter

• Working 38 hour week

• Night Shift - 10pm to 6am

• Hourly Rate $49 - $52 depending on experience and shifts

• Thomastown Location – Immediate Start

If successful for the position you must agree and be willing to complete pre-employment checks including National Police Check and Medical Assessment. And provide the company with a copy of your birth certificate and or passport or Australian Citizenship for identification.

 Our client specialises in defence, aerospace and commercial related processing and surface coatings. A rare opportunity has arisen to join their Rotating day and afternoon shift.

The Job

• Applying primers and high solid topcoat systems to a range of components

• Surface preparation and treatment to ensure coatings adhere effectively.

• Preparation of components prior to painting including masking, sanding and cleaning

• Ability to paint to specification with high quality workmanship

• Quality Control - Inspect work regularly to ensure coating thickness, surface profile, and finish meet required standards and minimising non-conformance

• Carry out new product development and testing

• Review and Complete Job Cards as per customers and products specifications

• Monitoring inventory ensuring adequate stock levels

• Comply with all safety, environment and quality requirements and contribute to a safe work environment.

• Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and work areas.

 To be successful you must have the following Experience

• Minimum 2 years of spray-painting experience

• Spray painting trade Certificate

• Excellent hand and eye co-ordination

• High level of attention to detail

• Able to follow detailed instructions both verbal and written

• Must be fluent in English

  • Able to read documentation and instructions

  • Able to write and document all the work producers and finish work

  • Strong verbal communication skills
