Night Shift Maintenance Electrician

South East Melbourne | Full-Time Permanent

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our night shift team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced industrial electrician or someone looking to gain exposure to PLC programming and factory automation while working on modern, high-speed manufacturing equipment.

What's on Offer

  • $60/hr base rate + 30% night shift loading

  • Regular overtime available

  • Permanent full-time position

  • Hours: 11:00pm – 7:00am

  • Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs, VSDs, HMIs and automation systems

  • Ongoing training and development opportunities

  • South East Melbourne location

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance

  • Fault finding on electrical and automated equipment

  • Support continuous improvement and automation projects

  • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment

About You

  • A-Grade Electrical Licence

  • Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong fault-finding skills

  • PLC experience advantageous, particularly Allen-Bradley

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

  • Safety-focused and reliable team player
