Join Australia’s leading RV manufacturer

Jayco is Australia’s largest producer of caravans and recreational vehicles, proudly manufacturing right here in Dandenong South. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer care, we’re looking for Service Technicians to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Jayco Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing customer caravans and motorhomes. This hands‑on role suits someone with mechanical aptitude, basic electrical or trade experience, and a willingness to learn. You don’t need to be a fully qualified mechanic—just confident with tools, problem‑solving, and practical work.

No two days are the same in this department. You’ll work across a wide variety of tasks, making this a great role for someone who enjoys variety and a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•             Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural components

•             Perform warranty repairs and routine servicing

•             Install accessories and replacement parts

•             Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets Jayco standards

•             Liaise with service advisors and customers when required

•             Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

What We’re Looking For

•             Experience or aptitude in a trade or technical environment (caravan, automotive, marine, construction, electrical, mechanical, or similar)

•             Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

•             Ability to read drawings, follow repair instructions, and work independently

•             Competence with hand and power tools

•             A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality workmanship

•             Full Australian working rights

Why Join Jayco?

•             Work with Australia’s most recognised RV brand

•             Stable, long‑term employment in a growing industry

•             Fortnightly Rostered Day Off (RDO) for great work–life balance

•             Supportive team environment with long‑standing employees and strong team culture

•             Opportunities for career development across production, service, and technical roles

•             Onsite parking and modern facilities

The Jayco Academy

As part of our commitment to developing our people, the Service Department offers access to the Jayco Academy—a structured training and development program designed to upskill team members in technical knowledge, product understanding, and hands‑on repair capability. Whether you’re building on existing skills or learning something new, the Jayco Academy supports your growth and long‑term career pathway.

Our Commitment to Inclusion & Diversity

At Jayco, we believe our strength comes from the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of our people. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. We welcome applications from people of all genders, cultures, abilities, and identities.

How to Apply

If you’re a hands‑on technician who takes pride in your work, enjoys variety, and wants to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and become part of the Jayco team.

Please note: Jayco is a strictly drug and alcohol‑free site. Random drug screening is conducted onsite, and all candidates must complete a drug screen as part of the pre‑employment medical.
