About the Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical switchboards, working closely with clients, engineers, and internal production teams. This role is suited to someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial sides of the industry and is confident taking ownership of opportunities from enquiry through to close.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for electrical switchboard projects

• Review specifications, drawings, and scopes of work

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

• Price tenders competitively while maintaining margin discipline

• Follow up quotations and actively close opportunities

• Maintain accurate records within estimating and CRM systems

• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong electrical background combined with commercial confidence.

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical industry

• Strong understanding of electrical switchboard standards and regulations

• Sales-driven mindset with a proven ability to close deals

• Exceptional written and spoken English

• Confident, professional communicator with clients and stakeholders

• High level of attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Simpro

Highly Regarded:

• Previous experience estimating electrical switchboards

• Background in commercial or industrial electrical projects
