Adrian’s Metal Recycling is a leading provider in the metal recycling industry, dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We are currently seeking three reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. This role is based on the GC at Molendinar.

Position Overview
We are looking for experienced, Hook Truck, Skip Truck drivers at Adrian’s Metal Recycling, you will be responsible for transporting metal scrap materials to and from various recycling facilities. This is a physically demanding role requiring a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure materials are picked up and delivered on time while adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport metal scrap from client locations to recycling facilities

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials

• Perform routine truck inspections and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained

• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies

• Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries

• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients

• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations

• Assist with organizing and sorting materials as needed

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Valid QLD HR Heavy Rigid driver’s license

• Clean driving record

• Previous experience as a Hook Bin and Skip Bin driver, is essential in the recycling or waste management industry

• Must have strong knowledge of PTO controls for safe loading of heavy loads

• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
