A steady Monday-to-Friday field service role with an established Nation access equipment company. You’ll keep our fleet of elevated work platforms safe, compliant and on the job. Annual salary from $100k + Super + Fully maintained vehicle.

About us

Access Markets is a fast-growing access equipment business servicing elevated work platforms across Sydney and the East Coast of Australia. The Group was established in 1981 and has grown to be a leader in the EWP industry.

The role

Working largely on your own out of a company vehicle, you’ll service, inspect and repair our fleet both on-site and in the workshop. Day to day you’ll be:

•     Carrying out annual (12-monthly) inspections in line with AS 2550.10

•     Completing 90-day (quarterly) services and inspections

•     Servicing and repairing diesel and petrol engines

•     Running general inspections, pre-hire checks and fault-finding across the fleet

•     Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults

•     Fleet off hire and on hires.

•     Keeping service and compliance records accurate and up to date

•     Dealing with customers professionally while on-site

What you’ll need

•     A recognised mechanical trade qualification (mobile plant, heavy vehicle, diesel, automotive or auto electrical)

•     Experience servicing EWPs/MEWPs or similar plant and access equipment (highly regarded)

•     Sound knowledge of hydraulic, electrical (12/24V) and engine systems

•     Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

•     Current NSW driver’s licence (essential)

•     White Card (construction induction)

•     EWP operator licence - Yellow Card and/or High-Risk Work Licence (WP class) or the willingness to obtain one

•     The ability to work independently and manage your own day in the field

•     A safety-first attitude and a professional, customer-focused manner
