The Role

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production lines to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.
• To execute a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce equipment failures and extend their lifespan.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring they are properly integrated into existing systems.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety standards and protocols, promoting a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment efficiency.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for industrial machinery.
• Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
