Automotive Parts Interpreter

We are looking for a professional and experienced Parts Interpreter to join our Parts department at Canterbury Toyota! . This role is an excellent opportunity to utilise your previously honed skills, where you will be dealing with companies within our area and fulfilling their parts and vehicle needs. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses exceptional communication skills and is determined to be successful in their career. You will have professional experience working within a dealership environment. This role involves face to face customer contact and requires the successful applicant to provide exceptional customer service.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Parts Advising carries out a range of duties related to selling Toyota Spare Parts, this includes:

• Identifying parts and components

• Consulting catalogues

• Carrying out storage and stock control procedures

• Material handling

• Customer advice

• Receiving and filling orders for parts

• Invoice preparation

• Organising dispatch

• Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support

• Preparing quotes for all workshop vehicles in a timely manner
