CJD Equipment is looking for an experienced Resident Field Service Technician to join our growing team!
Reporting to the State Service Manager, this is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you’ll build strong relationships, manage your own workflow, and deliver high-quality service across the Sunshine Coast / Wide Bay region—with full support from our Brisbane branch.

What You’ll Do
Diagnose, service, and repair construction and earthmoving equipment on-site and in the workshop
Manage job bookings, communicate directly with customers, and deliver outstanding service
Build and maintain a loyal regional customer base
Work independently while staying connected to a supportive team

What You’ll Bring
Relevant Heavy Mobile Equipment trade qualification (essential)
Proven field service experience in construction or earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication skills
A customer-first mindset and professional approach
Experience with service diagnostics software and parts catalogues
Ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
Flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required
Desirable:
LR or MR Licence (or above)
Air Conditioning Handling Licence
Volvo Construction Equipment experience
