The Role
We’re looking for a hand on Crane technician to join our skilled crane servicing team. From installing and repairing cranes and hoists to working directly with clients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and reliability on every job.
This role offers the opportunity to transition into FIFO work on a 8/6 roster once you are fully trained and established within the business. You’ll work with leading mining clients in remote locations and gain hands-on experience across a range of on-site and field service jobs. All travel and accommodation are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service & maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear

  • Fault diagnosis using electrical & electronic instruments

  • Install electrical switchboards and connect systems to power supply

  • Test circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards

  • Complete electronic service reports and documentation

  • Mentor junior technicians


What You’ll Need

  • WA "A " Class Electrical Licence

  • Background in crane maintenance, mechanical servicing, or comparable industrial equipment roles

  • Knowledge of Crane and Lifting standards AS1418 and AS2550  (highly desirable)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • High-risk EWP licence & Working at Heights certification

  • WA Driver’s Licence

  • Ability to travel/work away when required

  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

  • Good communication and reporting abilities

  • Able to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
