About the Role

Savwinch Pty Ltd is seeking motivated and results-driven Sales /Business development Manager to join our dynamic team in as a sales representative in Perth, WA. As a proactive member of our sales department working remotely in Perth, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth by engaging directly with customers, converting leads, and promoting our innovative range of marine winch products for the marine industry and trucking equipment for the trucking/automative industry in WA. You will be a face of the brand in WA, ensuring our customers receive expert advice while helping to expand our market presence as we release exciting new products. Relevant Industry experience is a must.

What you'll be doing

• Driving Sales: Actively pursuing sales opportunities to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets.

• Lead Conversion: Following up on inbound leads promptly and maintaining meticulous records within our CRM system.

• Customer Relationships: Managing and nurturing relationships with existing customers and retail dealers to ensure long-term loyalty.

• Quotes & Negotiations: Preparing accurate quotations, handling pricing inquiries, and closing sales in line with company objectives.

• Product Expertise: Providing technical guidance and product advice to help customers choose the right winch solutions for their needs.

• Event Support: Representing Savwinch at industry events, boat shows, and customer meetings to generate interest and new leads.

• New Business: Identifying and reaching out to potential new customers across the marine, commercial, and OEM sectors.

• Market Feedback: Monitoring competitor activity and sharing customer feedback with the team to help identify new opportunities.

• Collaboration: Working closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and consistent branding.

What we're looking for

• Sales Experience: Proven experience in a retail sales, internal sales, or customer-facing business development role in either the marine or trucking/automotive industries is a must.

• Target Driven: A demonstrated ability to meet sales KPIs and a hunger to close deals.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building rapport quickly.

• Technical Aptitude: The ability to learn, understand, and explain mechanical or marine products to a variety of audiences.

• CRM Discipline: Strong organisational skills with experience using CRM software to manage a sales pipeline.

• Professionalism: A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of accountability and customer service.

• Flexibility: A willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and participate in weekend industry events (like boat shows).

• Industry Interest: Experience in either the marine, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors is essential.

• Licensing: A valid Australian driver’s licence is required.
