Apprentice Cabinetmaker

We are seeking a 1st/2nd year apprentice Cabinet Maker for our small company in Prospect. You will learn all aspects of the trade including design, cutting on the saw or CNC machine, right through to installation. You will see the project from conception to completion.

We will arrange enrolment in an apprenticeship programme for successful candidates not currently enrolled.

Candidates currently enrolled in cabinet making apprenticeships may be considered for this position.

Applicants must be 17+ years of age to be eligible for this apprentice position.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

Applicant must be outgoing, well spoken with clean & tidy appearance & able to take instruction. You will need to have good mathematic skills & be keen & prompt. Drivers license essential ( P's as a minimum) & some experience preferred, but not essential for the right person.

A minimum of P1 provisional licence is required for this role.

Year 10 level mathematical skills are required for this role.

Previous apprenticeship experience in woodworking is highly preferred for this position.
