Boilermakers, Platers, Coded Welders - Major Shutdown Program 8 Months

We are seeking to engage urgently, several highly skilled and talented Coded Welders, Boilermakers and/or Platers ideally with current VOC's and/or IWC's to 4G & 6G MMAW/FCAW; to commence as early as 22nd June (on a 42 day shut) with further requirements commencing from the 5th July. 

Applicants MUST be trade qualified and possess a diverse range of other skills and tickets such as: Mechanical Fitting & Assembly, White Card, Working at Heights, EWP, Rigging, Dogging (highly regarded), Confined Space & Hazardous Atmospheres among the usual requirements, with BHP, RIO, YARA, Bechtel & Chevron Inductions a distinct advantage. Other tickets such as Fire Fighting, 4WD, Personal Lock Holders and Authorized Persons would be highly regarded. 

You will be working a 2:1 roster with day shift only at this stage, but this could change subject to operational requirements. 

You will be employed directly by our client in a "Casual Contract" with pay and conditions in line with each site contract. As a guide, rates range from $75/HR through to $80/HR (Flat rates) + other allowances (where applicable) and superannuation.

As a minimum, you will gross  $6,300/WK up to $6,720/WK (based on 84 hours worked each week when on roster) + other allowances (not included in this calculation) plus 12% Superannuation.

You must be in a position to commence on either of these dates:

1. 22nd June
2. 5th July
3. 19th July 

All approved applicants will be required to undergo a Category 3 pre-employment medical (involving blood tests, ECG etc.) along with company and client induction processes and VOC's where applicable.
