With a loyal customer base and a friendly team environment, we are looking for an experienced and motivated mechanic to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic who is confident not only in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, but also in assisting with customer service and workshop administration. This is a full-time, hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with both customers and our workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles

  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and accurately

  • Perform safety checks, inspections, and roadworthy assessments

  • Prepare and send customer quotes and invoices

  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries

  • Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service

  • Explain repairs, maintenance requirements, and recommendations to customers

  • Schedule bookings and manage workshop workflow

  • Use computer systems for job cards, invoicing, quoting, and customer records

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver outstanding service

About You

  • Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (preferred)

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Confident using computers, workshop management software, and Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to prepare quotes, invoices, and customer correspondence

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Current driver's licence

  • Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in quality workmanship
