ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles, you will play an integral role within our workshop team in our Chipping Norton depot.

You will be responsible for conducting and supervising all preventative maintenance and repair activities on heavy rigid vehicles, ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable and compliant. You will also actively mentor, train and assess apprentices, supporting a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Have a good mechanical aptitude  

• Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus

• Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders

• Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles

• Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail

• Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

• Have a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

• Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service
