We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and has the ability to lead and coordinate site activities while working alongside the crew.
As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating the onsite crew, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on time, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Lead and supervise carpentry team on residential projects
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate daily site activities and schedules
Ensure projects are completed on time and within quality standards
Maintain workplace health and safety compliance
Mentor apprentices and junior carpenters
Liaise with project managers, clients & suppliers.
Perform hands-on carpentry work as required
Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade certification
Minimum 5 years carpentry experience
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Excellent communication and leadership skills
White Card
Current driver's licence
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
