Position Summary

Responsible for planning and implementing strategic marketing activities, targeted towards existing and new markets for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Essential

-     Develop ECCO Safety’s corporate presence whilst upholding our business values and integrity

-     Lead and manage the Marketing team to ensure a creative and positive work environment is achieved

-     Develop and mentor team members to improve their knowledge and skills

-     Direct and execute innovative marketing and branding activities in-line with global marketing and key stakeholders

-     Work closely with Aftermarket, OE and Emergency sales teams and customers to support and develop revenue growth initiatives

-     Develop channel presence across all markets - promotions, tradeshows, events management

-     Drive brand awareness across all marketing channels

-     Develop and implement key brand strategies in-line with global strategies

-     Contribute to product development and product planning process as required

-     Streamline new product launch introductions

-     Monitor competitor activity to assist in corporate strategy

-     Manage and represent ECCO Safety’s at various trade associations, shows and seminars

-     Co-ordinate and support content marketing activities

-     Website content creation, traffic management, SEO and AEO

-     Digital and print advertising management

-     Provide reporting as required by ECCO Safety leadership

-     Prepare market studies, product implementation packets and competitive cross references.

-     Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

-     Maintain and develop ECCO Safety’s brand websites and social media platforms

-     Manage ECCO Safety’s e-commerce site and portal (via external management)

Essential Qualifications

Required

-     Demonstrate a strong understanding of how marketing correlates to sales results

-     Detailed knowledge of Australian, New Zealand and South East Asian markets

-     Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

-     Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

-     Marketing experience in physical products or automotive products.

-     Skills / qualifications in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress

Desired

-     Technical capabilities / qualifications in HubSpot, Prestashop, Contentful, Adobe Commerce, Power BI, Phocas, Canva and PartsDB.

-     Persuasive, articulate and able to work with and influence people at all levels, nationalities and personalities.

-     Ability to work independently, anticipate and react to frequently changing business climate.

-     Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders, and to exercise tact and diplomacy.

-     Proven time management and organisational skills with a proactive approach to prioritising workflow, meeting deadlines and resolving issues.

-     Excellent communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality.  

-     Demonstrated business acumen, relationship building abilities & interpersonal skills.

-     Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide workable solutions.

-     A high level of integrity, particularly when working with sensitive or restricted information.

-     A high level of initiative, with the ability to anticipate requirements and plan and act strategically.

-     Ability to balance conflicting and changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency, with a logical and systematic approach towards tasks and projects.

-     Supports flexibility and initiative to move between departments when necessary.
