Vehicle Testing Assistant and or Detailer

Central Auto Auctions was formed in 1977 and is Queensland's oldest privately owned DEALER ONLY Auction House.

We are currently seeking applications for the position of a Vehicle Testing Assistant/and or Vehicle Detailers , to join our team whose primary focus will be on testing and detailing our vehicles.

• Casual position with potential to convert to permanent part-time (flexible on role given experience) or permanent

• Immediate start

• Monday to Friday - (Mon to Thurs 8am start to approximately 2:30/3:00pm, Friday 8am to 12:00pm approximately)

• Open to individuals looking for a few days of work if you are studying or looking to get back into the workforce

• Duties include testing and detailing our motor vehicles, driving vehicles through the auction on auction days (Wednesday and Fridays) and other general duties as directed

• There may be potential to progress into a team leader role given your experience

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles (if applying for testing role)

• Basic knowledge of detailing and or buffing

• Passion for cars and the automotive industry

• Able to work harmoniously in a team environment

• Previous skills in leading a small team an advantage but not essential

• Knowledge and understanding of vehicle auction operations or similar environment well regarded but not essential

• Reliable, honest and hard-working

• Takes pride in performing work to a high standard

• Current valid OPEN MANUAL motor vehicle driver's license is essential
