The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for a permanent opportunity at Byerwen Mine (QLD).
This role offers a 7/7 roster, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work within a high-performing open-cut coal production team.

• 7/7 roster (days & nights, 12.5-hour shifts)
• DIDO / BIBO from Mackay or Townsville also open to people from anywhere in Australia if happy to pay for own flight to these locations
• Base rate: $55.17/hr (up to $62.97/hr with attendance allowance)
• Work on large-scale production mining equipment
• Modern mining fleet and strong site culture

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rigid haul trucks (CAT 777, 785, 793, 797)
• Support load and haul operations to meet production targets
• Conduct pre-starts, inspections, and hazard identification
• Maintain safe operation and compliance with site procedures
• Work collaboratively with crews and supervisors

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years open-cut production mining experience
• Experience operating large haul trucks (777-797 range)
• Standard 11 (S11) - current
• Coal Board Medical (CBM) - current
• Current NPC (within 6 months)
• Training transcripts required
• Strong safety focus and team attitude

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current driver's licence
• Must be flexible across crews and shifts
