We are looking for a reliable and motivated Trainee/experienced Electric Underfloor Heating Installer to join our team. This role is well suited to a labourer, second jobber, or trainee electrician who has some experience on building sites, a basic understanding of electrical work, and the ability to read plans. Full Electrician Licence is not required.
About the Role
You will assist with and undertake the installation of electric underfloor heating systems across residential and light commercial projects. Full training will be provided; however, prior site experience, the ability to read plans, and a general understanding of electrical concepts is not essential but will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Installing electric underfloor heating mats and cables
Reading and following plans and layout drawings
Assisting with placement of floor temperature sensors and thermostats
Following installation guidelines and site safety procedures
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Able to travel with occasional short term work down South
About You
Previous experience working on building or construction sites highly desirable
Able to read and interpret basic plans and drawings highly desirable
Basic understanding of electrical work (formal qualification not required) highly desirable
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Reliable, punctual, and physically capable as the job can be labour intensive at times
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Full driving license essential
Legally entitled to work in WA.
