We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painting & Finishing Technician to join our fast-paced Signage Manufacturing team. This hands-on role is ideal for a trade-qualified spray painter with a background in commercial, automotive or high-precision environments.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, painting and finishing of custom signage components using 2Pac and acrylic spray painting techniques, along with light to high-level filler work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and thrives in a team-focused, quality-driven environment.

This opportunity will only suit applicants seeking long term, full-time employment. Initial working days/hours are 0630am -1530pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting & Preparation: Perform sanding, masking, material preparation, spray painting (2pac/acrylic), and light to high filler work on a variety of signage products.

  • Quality Focus: Deliver clean, accurate finishes that meet internal standards; identify and correct imperfections early in the process.

  • Production Efficiency: Complete work within estimated timeframes, maintain stock usage records, and escalate time or quality constraints to the TeamLeader

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Graphics and Production teams to ensure seamless project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • ERP: will use the ERP system to enter time on projects

  • Computer Use: minimal outside of time entry

Ideal Candidate:

  • Trade-qualified spray painter with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a commercial or industrial painting environment

  • Highly skilled in 2Pac and acrylic paint applications (essential); previous experience in signage production is a strong advantage

  • Possesses a keen eye for detail and takes genuine pride in producing high-quality, precision finishes

  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
