Cosmetic Nurse Dermal Clinician Advanced Skin Therapist

Avesa Health is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Cosmetic Nurses, Dermal Clinicians and Advanced Skin Therapists who are looking to join a new and growing aesthetic, cosmetic and skin clinic.

We are open to casual, part-time or full-time arrangements for the right applicant. The successful candidate may be based at one location or work across multiple Avesa Health locations, depending on availability, experience, clinic demand and fit.

Avesa Health is launching from selected Dental One locations in Melbourne, with its own identity, booking flow and client experience. We are creating a calm, professional and clinically credible environment for clients seeking advanced skin, cosmetic, aesthetic and rejuvenation treatments in a welcoming and non-intimidating setting.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced applicants from one or more of the following backgrounds:

• Cosmetic Registered Nurse

• Dermal Clinician

• Dermal Therapist

• Advanced Beauty / Skin Therapist

You will be involved in client consultations, treatment planning, treatment delivery, client education, follow-up care and helping build long-term client relationships.

Depending on your qualifications, experience, training and scope of practice, treatments may include:

• Cosmetic consultation and treatment planning

• Nurse-led cosmetic treatments, where appropriately qualified and authorised

• Advanced skin consultations

• Laser and light-based treatments

• Skin rejuvenation and resurfacing treatments

• Monopolar RF

• HIFU skin tightening treatments

• Clinical peels

• Microneedling / skin needling

• LED light therapy

• Advanced facials and skin treatments

• Body contouring and muscle defining treatments

• Pelvic floor strengthening treatments

• Client education and skincare recommendations

• Pre- and post-treatment care

• Follow-up reviews

Experience with Medik8, mesoestetic or other professional skincare ranges will be highly regarded but is not essential.

All treatments must be performed within the clinician’s qualifications, training, scope of practice and Avesa Health protocols.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone professional, client-focused and confident working in a clinical environment.

For Cosmetic Nurse Applicants

You should have:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

• Strong experience in cosmetic or aesthetic nursing

• Minimum 3–4+ years’ experience as a Cosmetic Nurse preferred

• Confidence with facial assessment, consultation and treatment planning

• Proven experience performing nurse-led cosmetic treatments within scope

• Strong understanding of safety, consent, documentation and follow-up care

• Strong client education and communication skills

• Ability to support the growth of cosmetic services within the clinic

• Professional presentation and excellent attention to detail

For Dermal / Skin Therapist Applicants

You should have:

• Qualification in Dermal Science, Dermal Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a skin, laser, aesthetic, dermal or beauty clinic

• Experience performing advanced treatments or working with clinical-grade skin services

• Strong consultation and communication skills

• High standards around hygiene, treatment documentation and client care

• Confidence working in a professional clinical environment

• Interest in ongoing learning and development

Compensation

$30 – $55 per hour plus super, based on experience and role.

Future remuneration will be reviewed as the business scales and the role grows in responsibility.
