Concreter - Civil

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concreters to join our team at Carruthers Contracting to meet growing client demand. The role ideally suits an enthusiastic individual who would like to help grow with a company in a very friendly and results-driven group; the type of concreting includes the formation of footpaths/driveways, head walls, wing walls, gully pits and manholes.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing works and boxing out

2. Utilising skills, tools and equipment to achieve the required finish and standard

3. Undertaking site preparation tasks such as formwork, reinforcement placement, and surface preparation

4. Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in adherence to company policies and procedures

5. Providing support and assistance to other members of the construction team as required

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience as a Concreter, preferably in a civil construction environment

2. Sound knowledge of concrete placing, finishing, and curing techniques

3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

5. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

6. Current construction industry tickets and licenses, including a valid driver's licence
