CBC are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to support our facilities operations across multiple sites throughout Victoria (metro and regional).  

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across different environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • General building maintenance and repairs 
  • Basic carpentry, painting, patching, and joinery work 
  • Perform regular service walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs across multiple sites. 
  • Assisting licensed trades with general labour or minor works. 
  • Liaising with subcontractors and supporting job coordination 
  • Quoting minor works and completing basic admin tasks 
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company and client standards. 
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service materials in clean, safe working order. 
  • Record works completed through maintenance management systems or service logs. 
  • Provide responsive support for urgent repairs as required. 

About You:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance / handyperson role 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently 
  • Great communication and customer service skills 
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and contracts 

Requirements:

  • National Police Check or willing to obtain 
  • Drivers licence
  • WHS/OHS Induction Card – Desirable 
  • Trade qualification – Desirable
