Permanent Full-Time Opportunity as a General Maintenance Handyman / Carpenter
Servicing sites across Newcastle and the Hunter region.
About the Role
SCIS Property Group is growing, and we are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Handyman / Carpenter to join our team. Working with a range of high-profile Government and Commercial clients, you will take on a variety of handyman tasks across Newcastle and surrounds – from preventative maintenance to urgent repairs – no two days are ever the same.
We provide a fully maintained vehicle, tools, mobile phone, and more to allow you to complete your jobs.

What You'll be Doing
Use your carpentry and general maintenance skills to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks across commercial sites
Complete all works safely, and maintain accurate job records like notes and photos in our mobile job management application
Not have to worry about your day - follow the pre-planned schedule managed by our office-based Service Team
Working independently and as part of a supportive, skilled team
Have opportunities for available paid overtime

What We're Looking For
You're an experienced handyman who takes pride in your work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems.
Trade Certificate in Carpentry is desired but not essential
Minimum 1-2 years of commercial maintenance experience is required
Essential skills include basic carpentry, general repairs, and painting capabilities
Minimum C Class Drivers License
Comfortable using a mobile phone and mobile applications
Ability to pass a National Police Check and other additional security clearances (Mandatory)
