Fortnightly shared on-call roster for after-hours emergencies

 

About the role

• Maintenance Execution: Performs general facility maintenance, including reactive tasks, light refurbishments, and emergency repairs.
• Management & Compliance: Oversees all in-house and contracted maintenance schedules and records to meet Aged Care Standards and legal requirements.
• Team Support: Provides training, guidance, and first-level administrative support to the Property Maintenance Officer.
• Emergency Response: Participates in a fortnightly shared on-call roster for after-hours emergencies.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following;

• Essential: Current driver’s license.
• Experience & Knowledge: Beneficial to have building/trade knowledge, experience with Aged Care standards, and familiarity with maintenance logs and preventative schedules.
• Skills: Strong customer service focus, effective communication, computer literacy, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Attributes: Integrity, resilience, a problem-solving approach, and a commitment to person-centred care.
• Desirable: Building trade qualifications, project management skills, and leadership experience.
