Maintenance Carpenter Tradesperson

At Ducon, we are looking for an experienced Tradesperson / Maintenance Carpenter to complete quality work across a range of properties within our Reactive Maintenance department.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong carpentry/trades experience, who has a commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Reactive Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Completing commercial maintenance work orders including:

  • Internal and external building repairs

  • General building maintenance

  • General carpentry work

• Taking job photos and notes utilising our job management system

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Ensuring all works are always completed to a high standard

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A recognised trade qualification within the building/construction industry

• White/Red Card

• Minimum 10 years carpentry/trades experience within the commercial construction industry

• Broad maintenance skill set

• Reliable with strong time management abilities

• High attention to detail

• Excellent communication

• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, along with your own tools

• Full Australian working rights

• Working with Children Check

• Willing to undergo a National Police Check
