POLY WELDER

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone experienced in poly pipe welding and pipeline installation, with the opportunity to expand into pump and irrigation system installation and servicing.

You will be working on water infrastructure projects including irrigation systems, pump stations, and pipeline installations across farms, rural properties, and commercial sites.

Training can be provided in pump and irrigation systems for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Poly welding (butt fusion and/or electro fusion) of HDPE pipelines

• Installation of irrigation pipelines and water distribution systems

• Assist with pump installation, commissioning, servicing, and repairs

• Support installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

• Pressure testing and commissioning of pipeline systems

• Diagnose and assist in resolving pipeline or system faults

• Assemble and prepare materials, fittings, and components for installation

• Complete job documentation and basic site paperwork

• Maintain safe work practices and clean work environments

About You

• Experience in poly welding (butt fusion and/or electro fusion) essential or highly regarded

• Experience in pipeline installation, civil construction, plumbing, irrigation, or utilities desirable

• Background in agriculture, farming, or rural infrastructure highly regarded

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn pump and irrigation systems

• White Card (Construction Induction Card) required

• Valid driver’s licence required

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel to job sites
